READY TO

Om knows all too well how precious life is, having gone through two close brushes with death. Om recounts leaving behind family to escape arrest in pursuit of freedom and opportunity abroad that ultimately helped him realise his full potential. He passionately speaks of PR – perseverance and resilience, as the recipe for his success in a new land far from where he once called home.

A refugee’s story has rarely been told so powerfully.  He helps others put things in perspective by sharing his personal journey of fleeing from the land of “Gross National Happiness” to escape arrest and persecution leaving behind his wife and two and half year–old daughter.

Rather than despair at the hardship, he then sets out in an inspiring journey volunteering in refugee camps for over six years and helping young people achieve their dreams through his personal mission to “look for gems, help polish them and let them shine”. His riveting anecdotes will bolster morale at any conference or event while providing an invaluable perspective on triumph over adversity.
